Gauff has performed flawlessly in the tournament so far; the American wins all matches 2-0, and there has not been a single match in which she would not defeat her opponent. Gauff is only 18 years old, and she is already in the semi-finals of the Grand Slam! And deservedly so.
The opponents already met two years ago in Paris, when the Italian won 2:1. But over these two years, the American has clearly become stronger. Gauff sometimes makes mistakes but then quickly pulls herself together and smashes at least one set 6:0. It’s still a little risky to take a comfortable victory in games, it’s better to bet on sets.
