On Saturday, in the 34th round of the Ekstraklasa, runners-up Górnik Zabrze will host Radomiak Radom at their home Arena Zabrze. The hosts are second in the table with 53 points and just won the Polish Cup. The team is riding a high and aims to finish the season with a victory in front of their home fans to secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers. Radomiak, meanwhile, is in ninth place with 44 points and lacks any competitive motivation.
The visitors' personnel losses will be the deciding factor. Radomiak will be without key players: Abdul Tapsoba has been suspended for two matches for a red card, and Roberto Alves will miss the match due to an accumulation of yellow cards. Furthermore, Rafal Wolski, Mikołaj Molendowski, and Josh Wilson-Esbrand are injured. Górnik, however, has all its key players available, giving the hosts a huge advantage given their different league positions.
Radomiak has only earned 13 points on the road this season, while the hosts have been consistently picking up points at home. Considering the loss of two of the visitors' leading attackers and Górnik's incredible form (nine matches unbeaten), there's no doubt about the outcome.
