Chelsea and Tottenham approach their head-to-head clash in terrible physical and mental shape. With both defenses looking extremely shaky and Spurs desperately clinging to Premier League life, a clean sheet is unlikely.
Despite the defensive woes, both teams have attacking talent. Chelsea have Pedro Neto and Alejandro Garnacho back in action, while João Pedro (15 goals this season) continues to be a regular threat. Tottenham's squad is seriously weakened by injuries to key players (Solanke, Kulusevski, and Vicario are out), but even in this state, Spurs have scored in four consecutive matches.
London derbies rarely fail to produce goals, and in the current circumstances, with Chelsea psychologically shattered after their 1-0 defeat to City in the FA Cup final and Tottenham fighting for survival, it would be naive to expect a closed-door game.
