Sparta have long been one of the strongest clubs in the Czech Republic, and in recent years the team has managed to confirm this (Sparta have been champions two years in a row). Although this season Slavia Prague are clearly winning the competition (they are already 16 points behind), but still Sparta need to fight at least for the top 2 to participate in the UEFA Champions League again.
Jablonec are performing much better than usual this season - 30 points in 18 rounds, the team is in 5th place, with a good chance to finish the regular season in the top-6 group. But still, Jablonec is clearly losing the competition to the top Czech clubs, and most of the defeats happen on the road.
