Tottenham is considered one of the tournament favourites, especially since now teams from the group stage of the Champions League will not be able to qualify for the Europa League. ‘Spurs’ do not make serious rotations for European Cup matches, so the first two games the team confidently won.
AZ, of course, belongs to the top clubs in the Netherlands, but still not so often appear in Eurocups, even in the Europa League, as until recently the Eredivisie had quite few Eurocup spots, and AZ loses in competition to PSV, Feyenoord and Ajax. But still the team has European Cup experience, this season the team has 3 points in the first two games - they did not easily beat Elfsborg at home (3:2), and then lost away to Athletic Bilbao.
We do not think AZ will manage to take points in London, especially if Tottenham will again play with the main squad.
